Skillz Classes
Below are some of the classes that may feature across our group exercise schedule over the coming months.
SkillzSpin (12-16 years only)
Follow your coach through the highs and lows of a bike ride to remember! By adjusting the resistance on our magic bodybikes you’ll challenge your heart rate and your muscles developing speed and endurance. Let the music motivate you and ride the wave of a variety of tempos to kick your pulse into gear.
SkillzStretch&Balance
This class will challenge your balance and co-ordination whilst developing your flexibility. Your coach will lead you through a variety of gymnastics drills using equipment such as the BOSU balance trainers, wobble boards and resistance tubing. To redirect your focus and promote overall mind and body well being the class will end with some yoga and thai chi relaxation.
SkillzDance
Strut your stuff in the studio as your coach presents a variety of pre choreographed routines incorporating a range of dance disciplines. During breakouts you’ll also have the opportunity to create some of your own moves and routines to some of the hottest new tunes to hit the dancefloor.
SkillzCombat
Box your way into a fitter and stronger shell with Skillz Combat. Your coach will deliver a variety of boxing drills and games to improve your technique and challenge your fitness. Use the pads and gloves with your partner to feel what it’s really like to be in the ring. The latest tunes will keep you motivated as you bob and weave your way to the top outsmarting any opponent.
SkillzStrength (12-16 years only)
Using the power of the Gymstick you will build lean muscle mass during this whole body resistance workout. Lift and press to the beat with some awesome tunes to take your mind off the burn of the workout!
SkillzStep
Challenge your aerobic ability off the deck with our Skillz Step class. Your coach will challenge you to ‘step up the pace’ with this cardio challenge whilst strengthening and toning your legs.
SkillzCircuits
With the arrival of our new XLR8 equipment circuit training just took a triple jump into speed, agility and power! Challenge yourself on speed ladders, mini hurdles and evasion belts to close the gap on your opponents across your sporting stage.
CombinationClasses
Due to member positive feedback we have decided to combine some disciplines within one class. This allows you to experience more variety and greater challenges within your group exercise workouts.
